spend time doing art activities read better, have higher self esteem,
learn math quicker and
increase hand
eye coordination.
Creativity
helps
develop the child’s concentration, creative-thinking,
artistic, organizational and manipulative skills.
You
can do arts and crafts with your family without going crazy! All it
takes are some household items and a few simple art supplies you can
get at any craft store, like Michaels Crafts store, Walmart, Pearl or
Hobby Lobby.

On a personal note,
I started making arts and crafts when I was born, well not
really
but it sure seems that way. I remember the many hours spent painting
and gluing with my mom, and even more holding boards for my Dad in his
woodshop. I guess you could say I was born with it, but the truth is -
I just love making things.
You don't have to be born
with artistic talent to enjoy crafting - or to teach your children a
love of creating.
You
can start a new family tradition today by using easy to find
craft
supplies, just like the ones you are probably already buying at:
Micheals Craft stores, Hobby Lobby, Pearls Art Supply, TJ Maxx, Tuesday
Morning, Binders and Garden Ridge. You don't have
to be
Micheal Angelo - just be you, share it with them and have fun!
